Doesn’t Work With Calculated Shipping on Etsy

I really wanted to like this plugin and paid for the pro version. It does work, but it is rudimentary at best. I got it to work no problem, but there were numerous issues which finally made me delete it: it doesn’t upload pictures (at least not webp), there are a few fields such as materials which do not upload, tags produce errors, and the biggest issue for me: it does not work with calculated shipping. It deleted the ounces field in Etsy, so you can only ship by pounds. This is a big issue if you ship lightweight items. I contacted the developer, who was VERY quick to respond (kudos for that!), and he wasn’t surprised I was having trouble, and admitted that he can’t fix it. In the end, I decided to look for other options – in my situation it is faster to create copies of older Etsy listings and switch pictures, etc. There’s less editing than using this plugin, which completely defeats the purpose. If you are someone who offers free shipping, or uses a flat rate shipping template in Etsy you’ll be fine. Also be sure you use Jpeg or similar on your website….because your images won’t transfer otherwise (but idk who would do that because they’re horrible for storage space and site speed 😒) I’m guessing this is a better option for drop shippers who copy and paste images and don’t fulfill their own orders 😒
