 * To be completely honestly, chances of adding AMP compatibility are pretty low.
   There’s almost no demand for this feature (you’re like the 4th / 5th person ever
   to post about it here). And because [Google is actively moving away from AMP](https://www.searchenginejournal.com/google-retires-amp-icon-survey/406770/),
   the framework’s future is highly uncertain. From a technical standpoint, it doesn’t
   make practical sense to invest development time into it right now.

 * Just realized that that article I shared above is from **2021**. I think it’s
   pretty safe to assume that AMP has effectively been dead for a while now.

 * Ah, I guess just this July Google stopped doing the AMP Cache thing too! [Google Drops AMP Cache From Search Results: What Site Owners Must Know](https://almcorp.com/news/google-drops-amp-cache-search-results/)
 * So you’re right. AMP is dead. Nevermind then! I’ll probably delete the AMP plugin
   as well soon.
