    I just installed your plugin, and Im totally amazed its execty what Ive been looking for!!
    I just have little problem – when I post new article, no email comes to addresses Ive put there for testing ­čÖü
    When im sending emails manually, everything┬┤s fine.
    Can somebody help me please? =)

    Have a look in Subscribe2->Settings in the Email Settings tab. Look for the line where it says “Send Email From:” and choose your user name from the drop down list and hit the submit button at the bottom of the page.

    If that still doesn’t work install a mail logging plugin like this one:

    And see if there are emails generated when you publish a post. If there are, check your spam folders. If there isn’t anything there then sending is being blocked on the server so speak to your hosting provider to find out why.


    When I choose my name in email settings it says “You appear to be sending notifications from an email address from a different domain name to your blog, this may result in failed emails” …. it doesnt work even with that plugin.

    Ill try to ask my hosting provider.

    I just tried it on another hosting and it doesnt work either. I think im doing something wrong.


    You need to make sure you are sending the emails from an email address that actually exists and shares the same domain name as your blog. So, if you blog is you need to make sure there is an email address created like

    Once that’s done you need to create a user in WordPress at Administrator level and using the email address you created above, then choose that as the sender in the Subscribe2 settings as detailed above.
