    This is an updated review.
I first left a negative review because i couldn’t find any support.
Well i obviously didnt look hard enough.
I received quick and supportive support as you can read further down this thread.

This is a great tool and im ooking forward to the point when I’ll be using all the great features of the paid for version.

    thank you

This is a great tool until you check it works.
Works fine on every device apart from ios… Basically anything apple.
Its the field entry that is the problem.
When you fill in the form as a user you can only see the top 1/3rd of the text you type.

    Hey eddiegrant,

Sorry to hear you encountered trouble!

This is a conflict with your theme. If you provide us with link we’d be happy to help find a CSS fix that get’s things working 🙂

Next time I encourage you to give our support a chance, instead of leaving a bad rating first.

Lite (free) users DO get support, as is clearly outlined in our support policy –

In fact, we have over 10 pages of SOLVED support tickets for the free plugin –

We have over 300,000 users, so I promise you the customer is our always our #1 priority. But we can’t help those who don’t ask.

Well i stand corrected. But i went through your theme for support and couldn’t get to it as i needed to be a paid user.
If you can help i will change my review from terrible to excellent. I understand how powerful a review is.
    My site is
The forms are in 4 locations.
    Contact us
and a further one after the password protected page.

I think your product is fantastic, i was left really frustrated after trying to find a solution.
Ironically you can contact me directly via the contact form. Thats irony…
I’m looking forward to a fix and telling my story.

    thank you in advance.

    Hi Jared
I appreciated your reply yesterday. However I’m disappointed not to hear back from you after your offer of the CSS fix.

Please advise if you are actually going to assist or if it was a tactic to have me remove my initial review of your module.

    please advise.

    Hey Eddie,

There are a few different ways we can get this taken care of!

By default WPForms loads styling that is designed to style ALL aspects of the form, and do it in a very opinionated fashion. The reason we do this is because most WordPress themes actually do a very poor job at styling form elements (some don’t style them at all).

Sometimes what happens, like in this case, is when a theme does include form styling it can conflict with our own styling we provide. Thankfully it doesn’t happen to often, and is an easy fix, but it does happen from time to time.

    There are two options, generally.

The first thing that can be tried is to go into the WPForms setting and change the “Include Form Settings” option to “Base styling only”. What this does, is instead of WPForms loading all our full (opinionated) form styling, we only load a few critical styles – everything else we leave up to your theme. If you theme contains good form styling, this can be a easy and sufficient option.

The second thing is to use a small CSS snippet to fix the conflict. Looking at your site I can see, for some reason, that your theme is applying a specific line height for form elements – the weird thing is that it did it in a way that specifically will override any other line heights (such as the one we load to make the form look correct) So we need to override your theme’s override 🙂

The snippet below can be used to do that.

    div.wpforms-container-full .wpforms-form input[type=date],
    div.wpforms-container-full .wpforms-form input[type=email],
    div.wpforms-container-full .wpforms-form input[type=number],
    div.wpforms-container-full .wpforms-form input[type=password],
    div.wpforms-container-full .wpforms-form input[type=range],
    div.wpforms-container-full .wpforms-form input[type=search],
    div.wpforms-container-full .wpforms-form input[type=tel],
    div.wpforms-container-full .wpforms-form input[type=text],
    div.wpforms-container-full .wpforms-form input[type=url],
    div.wpforms-container-full .wpforms-form select,
    div.wpforms-container-full .wpforms-form textarea {
    	line-height: 1.3 !important;

This CSS can be added to your site via the WordPress customizer (no additional tools are needed). More details on that are located here

Let me know if you have any questions.

    This worked perfect.
    Thank you.
I will try and remove this review and replace it with a more accurate version.

    kindest regards

    Eddie Grant
