    Hi,

This is a great plugin, but it doesn’t seem to work in the Chrome browser. I can still right click on images.

I just fired up chrome and tested right click and it works fine (actually does not display context menu).

    1) It does not work if you are logged into your WordPress page. Admins can right click the images.
    2) It does not work for images within iframes or the image is presented as other than a background or an IMG tag.
    3) It does not work if there is an html tag covering the image such as a transparant image that is used to fade or obscure the image.
    4) If you website is using CloudFlare or other caching, it may take time for the web page to hit your browser. Make sure that you refresh the site and clear any caching before you test.

Please log off of your WordPress site before you try to test the plugin. Please clear all caches and reload the page.

Ok, very good. Thanks for the response!

    Hi Keith,

Sorry I am experiencing the same thing. The plugin used to work fine on 2.5 but then I updated to 3.4 and now anyone can right click images.

    Can you please advise?

    Many thanks,

Are you sure that you are not logged in to WordPress?

I just checked a couple of my sites with Chrome and I could not right click anything.

What is the URL of your site running the plugin. I can go and try to right click an image and see if there is anything strange happening.

    Hi Will,

    Thanks for the quick response.

Please visit https://goo.gl/t4bxPE. There’s some images on the homepage and feel free to click around the site.

    Many thanks,

    Tim,
I tried to debug your site, but there are literally dozens of JavaScript widgets on your site and it appears that more than one of them deals with click events. One of the scripts is taking over the the click event before the no-right-click script can act on it.
The script is loading correctly, but it never sees the click event.
The way to debug this is to disable all plugins except the no-right-click plugin and start enabling plugins until the no-right-click plugin stops working and then you will know where the conflict is.
I used to load the plugin in the WP footer, but WordPress discourages this, so I use the recommended method to load the JavaScript. It is possible to control the order that WP loads scripts, but the plugin uses the default order right now. In a future release I may include an option load the script last on the chain so that it gets a better shot at receiving the click events.

    Keith
