Doesn’t work in Chrome 73

When I view my site in Chrome 73 the widget shows but nothing happens when I select Spanish. In the Console view I see this message:
Cross-Origin Read Blocking (CORB) blocked cross-origin response https://translate.googleapis.com/translate_a/l?client=te&alpha=true&hl=en&cb=_callbacks____0jtr8l0y6 with MIME type application/json. See https://www.chromestatus.com/feature/5629709824032768 for more details.

In Firefox everything works just fine.
