Doesn’t work, help!

    My website WP 2.7.1 mistylook theme
    I worked on homepage for my web site (layout)
    I made changes in those files: index.php, header.php – theme folder
    formatting.php – wp-includes folder.

    I copied those files (plus some additional files .css and.js) into folders and overwrite the old ones
    After that my website stopped working (admin page as well), you can go to website but there is nothing, view source – nothing.
    I restored old files (yes I made a copy) and deleted additional files something changed my website still doesn’t work but admin page is working and I can log in.
    One more thing I noticed later that I replaced (first time) formatting.php WP 2.7.1 with formatting.php from WP 2.8.5 (but later I restore orginal one)
    Any ideas how to fix it and what is the problem?

    Re-upload the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress 2.7.1. If you still have problems, try switching to the default theme. If the problem then disappears, you have introduced an error in your theme.

    I’d also recommend that you upgrade to 2.8.6 asap.

    Thank you, error was in my theme, you are my GOD 🙂
