Doesn’t work, don’t waste your time…

    This plugin pretends like it works, it even pretends showing you the process of your images being resized, and then it shows a success message where they promote their paid service, which is obviously the goal of this plugin.

    None of my images were actually resized. I will restore a backup now because who knows – a broken plugin like this may have messed up some things behind the scenes.

    I also tested the plugin ‘Regenerate Thumbnails By Alex Mills (Viper007Bond)’, and that one works perfectly. So you can safely use that instead.

    Thanks for taking the time to write this review.

    We would have loved if you gave us the opportunity to help you figure out what’s happening instead of writing a 1-star review straight away :-(. The goal of the plugin is not to promote a paid service; this plugin is completely free to use and it is working correctly from our tests. Could you please open a new support thread so we can have a look and see what is going on?

    Sorry to do so but when I read the first page of reviews I saw quite a few others that were having the same problem, so I assumed it was due to lack of plugin maintenance because of the main business being the paid shortpixel plugin, and this more of a vehicle to promote it – thus it having relatively low upkeep importance.

    Sorry I can’t go around opening support requests for plugins that I quickly use only one time. I wasted time already on it not working, when I could have chosen that other working plugin instead. I chose this plugin first, because I thought that shortpixel as a company would make sure their plugins are up to date and working.
