  • Agreed.

    This is a strange plugin…the website URLs are mostly dead…you guys say it doesn’t work…BUT yet…

    http://wjarc.com/gallery

    …there it is working fabulously! Maybe I grabbed a copy before things went south?

    This thing is awesome and saved my project…so now I’m worried about the day it falls out of step with WP. I hope the author gets it together.

    If you think my version may work for you feel free to email me for a copy… http://zacharyknight.com

    Yes, it’s not quite ready for prime time. As zknight says, the links to the author’s site are dead.

    It’s based on using the [cgview] shortcode. The Installation tab has this example:
    [cgview num=9 id=4 size=250x150].
    Paste that into a page or post. Check your categories to see what number to use for id.

    The Screenshot tab shows an example that reads
    [cgview num=9 id=4 size=250x250 exclude=21,9 quality=50].
    It would be nice if the options were documented!

    @zknight
    I just downloaded the most recent version and seems to work well for me. The only thing I’m having trouble with is the Lightbox (Colorbox) display, I’d prefer to click on the cgview thumb and get taken to the post instead of the lightbox. It looks like you have this working on http://wjarc.com/gallery
    Any tips on how I can get the same functionality?

    Thanks!!

    Here is the shortcode that created the gallery page I’ve linked to above…

    [cgview id=9 num=33 size=320x320 quality=85 lightbox=0]

    I think the “lightbox=0” attribute is the important one for those of you getting the image instead of the post.

    Guys, sorry for the long delay. But the plugin has been upgraded with lots of features and a proper documentation.
    I have been traveling a lot and moving to a new place. Finally got time to work on it.
    Check out version 2.0

    @zknight thanks for the help!

    @anshul it’s great to have the documentation handy. The plugin is awesome, thanks for all your hard work 🙂
