# Does’nt work!

 * The update does not work.
    It overwrote the previous settings and messages, I
   try to change the configuration and it doesn’t save anything, the chat ringtone
   is not heard, the open chat button has disappeared. Sorry, it was nice but I 
   uninstall it.

 * Hi there,
 * We made an update yesterday that adds back some of the ringtone functionality.
   The sounds should now be played in all situations.
 * The sound itself may have changed from the classic ‘Ring Ring’ to a more discrete
   sound. Please let us know if it’s ok.

 * That’s unfortunate. We’ve ran a lot of migration tests and made sure migration
   from 8.2.0 would ensure that your settings are kept.

 * Can you try the new version 9.0.8 and see if this resolves the issue? After you
   press ‘Save’, please check if any of the tabs inside the “Settings” area have
   numbers next to them. Like this: “Chat Box ‘2’” This would indicate that there’s
   2 fields in the ‘Chat Box’ tab that need to manually be addressed.

 * Version 9.0.8 should fix this. We’ve verified it internally and it should work
   fine.
    Regardless, we added 1 more fix in version 9.0.9 that’s coming out later
   today that should make things even better.

   You don’t see this?

    I once again updated to the latest version available 9.0.10, I did some simple
   tests, the ones described above, and none of them were successful.
 * Thank you for your kindness, but the plugin doesn’t work, at least on my site.
   I solved otherwise.
