Support » Plugin: Ultimate WooCommerce Filters » Doesn’t use attributes or work with variations

  • Let’s say you have a t-shirt for sale in black and red. You’d create a Woocommerce product as a variable product with black and red variations. This plugin won’t work with that. It doesn’t do anything with variable products or variations. You’d have to create one product for red and a completely separate product for black, then put them into red or black categories (just like you can do with Woocommerce out of the box)…

All it does is add a new category metabox for products… Why? This functionality is mostly available from Woocommerce out of the box

    Hi firepuppy,

Sorry that you were having trouble with the plugin. And I apologize for the delay in our response here. We were looking into the issue and wanted to have it fixed as soon as possible.

We’ve just released an update to correct the error in which variations weren’t available for colors that already existed. You now just need to re-save the colors and this feature should work correctly.

To add a variation for a color that you have set up in our plugin, just go to the edit screen for one of your variable products in WooCommerce, click on the Variations tab, choose Add Variation and click Go, and you’ll be presented with a dropdown called “Any UWCF Colors”, which you can use to select the appropriate color for that variation.

    Hi firepuppy,

Just wondering if you had the chance to update the plugin and if it corrected the issue you were experiencing with the variations.
