    Hi..
    It’s a bit disappointing for a great plugin like this that doesn’t support the simple RTL feature. it may not seems like a big deal but when the content contains the mixture of LTR and RTL, it makes it almost impossible to modify the post.

    So what I do for now is copy paste the content in a notepad, make the changes and paste it back to Code Snippet which can be a little bit frustrating and time-consuming.

    I hope you will consider this in the future releases.

    Thanks

    Hi @worldless,

    Thank you for the feedback. There is some effort to support RTL in the plugin – primarily using the same method that WordPress core does to reverse the directions in stylesheets.

    Having just tested it out now, it seems that everything appears to be in the correct direction aside from the code editor itself. Is this the main thing that needs to be supported to make the RTL experience easier, or are there other issues you’d like to see addressed?

    Wow, that’s great news! looking forward to the new release. thank you Shea

    Yes, definitely. when it comes to switching directions through stylesheets, there’s nothing else other than float:left/right; direction:ltr/rtl;

    I’ll respond to this thread as soon as I get the new release and mark this thread as resolved if there was no problem

    Thanks again

    I’ve added a dropdown control for RTL users which allows switching the editor between RTL and LTR modes. Hopefully this is what you’re looking for – I’m keen to hear any further feedback on what could be improved after the release.

    I tested out the new release and it worked perfectly fine. thank you.

    However I find it a little bit hard to switch back and forth through the drop-down menu. I forgot to mention that the general shortcut key used for switching between LTR and RTL in Windows, WordPress and all plugins is Ctrl+Shift. [Left Ctrl + Left Shift] for LTR and [Right Ctrl + Right Shift] for RTL. any RTL user is familiar with that. Code Snippet was the only plugin for me that didn’t happen to function with the shortcut keys.

    Having said that, I believe the shortcut keys can be a better option in the future releases if there is any possibility to implement it.

    All in all, the problem has been resolved and thanks as always for your support

    I’ll definitely see what I can do as far as adding the shortcut keys goes. It looks like it may be tricky to get the editor to discern between left and right ctrl/shift, but I’m sure there’s a way.
