But it was never advertised that it would have effects on the front-end. I appreciate your time to write on it but the topic you created is about “Doesn’t support custom post types as it says”, although your content is different from the title. It certainly supports the custom post types but unfortunately you are expecting an advanced functionality in a free version.
Revise your description then. Why else would someone look for this kind of plugin? The point of ordering them in the dashboard is also to order them on the front end, but obviously not for your plugin! I’m updating this comment so others don’t waste their time trying to sort on the front end too.
Every wp-admin panel has the same UI so sort order works there but every theme would have different UI and sorting as per UI and relevant DOM elements would require a separate implementation. You are instructing like you paid for it, it is a free plugin and if you cannot appreciate the contribution to this open-source community, at least be polite and don’t discourage. I have reviewed the description, there is nowhere mentioned that it would work for the front-end theme templates UI. Your expectations doesn’t fulfill so a plugin and effort behind it is just a waste of time? Do a little effort and contribute a little, why are you just writing the negative reviews. Lets contribute and make it happen.
Been doing this for over 21 years, probably before you were born. Grow up. You put this plugin out there. Learn how to take criticism. Learn customer service. Learn how to own your mistakes and make this a better place for everyone. The world owes you nothing. Deal with it and life will get better for you. And yes, you just lost another star for being a big baby.

I am again clearing here, it is never advertised and not possible that sort order plugin will handle or can handle the sort order position on the front-end in theme templates. That’s it.
This plugin provide sorting in wp-admin panel section.
