Doesn't show the details of country

    Recent Countries widget always shows “Unknown”.
    Map Overlay count is 0.
    Could you please tell me how can I fix the issue.

    Hi,

    Are you using our Get Country plugin? Did you install the MaxMind database? What is your website URL? What IP address is being reported by Slimstat under Access Log?

    I have installed the “MaxMind IP to Country” database. I didn’t installed Get Country plugin. My website is not published publicly. Its under testing.

    Under the “Recent Countries”, it shows as below.

    Results 1 – 1 of 1
    Unknown
    08-31-15 11:26 am
    Country Code: xx
    IP: ::1

    It appears like your webserver is behind some sort of firewall that is using IPv6. Slimstat gets the IP that is sent by the firewall, and unfortunately all you can do is fix the issue at the server level.

    It is working fine now after moving to the public network.
