Doesn’t show errors!

Used this to collect newsletter subscribers for 2 years or so. It seemed to work fine when tested, but it turns out it didn’t work with subscribers using certain browser settings, but didn’t spit out any kind of error or give any indication. Always just gave a success message.

MailChimp has a problem with browsers auto-filling hidden fields (Google “mailchimp too many signup attempts” for more info) and was rejecting a lot of subscribers. There’s a workaround for this, but you have to know it’s happening!

I’m now using an embedded form from MailChimp’s form builder (and the workaround mentioned above) instead of this extension.
