Support » Plugin: Simple Custom Post Order » Doesn’t set up properly

  • Once installed, you’re supposed to go to the Portfolio tab to use it. There’s no such tab. That makes it useless.

    Hello @gersetich,

I’m really sorry to hear that you’ve had a bad experience with our plugin. I saw this review and wanted to hop in first to sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and secondly to also maybe clear things, as it seems there was a bit of a misunderstanding along the way.

Re. the plugin having a portfolio tab/feature:

Please allow me to explain this as I am not sure how you reached the conclusion that there needs to be a Portfolio tab in this plugin. Simple Custom Post Order does not have a portfolio tab nor do you need one in order to sort/rearrange your posts.
Did you saw this on our screenshot here: ?
If yes, that is only an example of custom posts (portfolio in that example) which you can sort using Simple Custom Post Order.

    Re. the plugin being useless:

To use this plugin you need to install and activate it then go to your WordPress dashboard > Settings > SCPOrder > select the posts you want to sort > save.
    Here is a screenshot:

After you do this you will be able to sort your posts, custom posts, pages, etc by going to your Posts, for example, and use drag and drop to move them around.

We are sorry if there was any confusion regarding what this plugin is used for or how to use it, we did our best to create a clear and concise plugin description. Of course, we will double-check it to see if it needs further improvement.

    Takeaway points:

We do our best to answer our support tickets as fast as we can and help our plugin users. All you needed to do was open a support ticket here before leaving a review:

If you’d like to give our plugin another shot please follow my above instructions and it might turn your experience around.

In case you have questions please don’t hesitate to reply and we will do our best to help out.

    Have a blessed day,
