# Doesnt send the mail.

 * I already DID read the FAQ, but it’s not like the FAQ is helping. The mail has
   been “killed” or “kidnapped”, eh?
 * I dont recieve the mail (I get the success message with the green border), I 
   checked the log, the spam folder, everything, but nothing happens.

 * Okay, I seem to have solved it. Apparently it wouldnt let me send to [@hotmail](https://wordpress.org/support/users/hotmail/)
   email. So I changed to my other e-mail, and now I recieve the email.

 * I’m having the same problem. I’ve tried sending to my company address as well
   as my gmail address and neither work.

 * By the way, how does Contact Form 7 send mail? I’ve recently installed Better
   WP Security and am wondering if that’s caused a problem.

 * Yesterday I reverted to the previous version and sent a mail which I received
   this morning. Because I never received the mail yesterday I assumed it also wasn’t
   working so I upgraded again to the latest version. I’m going to have to downgrade
   again today. Even though it took ages to get through, at least it did.

 * I solved the problem with company e-mails, it doesn’t seem to work with gmail
   and live/hotmail.

 * Okay, got it figured out. The mail was being blocked so I installed WP-Mail-SMTP
   and together with my web host configured an email account that the site could
   use to send mail. Now all the mail comes through.
