Support » Plugin: New Nine Adaptive Images » Doesn't seem to work (can't find ai-cache)

  • Installed & enabled on multisite; customized on settings > media for some sites. No ai-cache being created — should it be in root? or wp-content? or blog.dir/x, where x is the blog ID? I find it in none.

Have tested by visiting w/ a mobile device (iPhone 5). Restarted Apache after modifying .htaccess. Changed paths per http://wordpress.org/support/topic/how-to-make-this-plugin-work-tutorial?replies=5 but still no joy.

    Permission on wp-content is 755.

Example of my .htaccess (rewrite is on; blog #s changed for this example):

    # ADAPTIVE IMAGES (New Nine Adaptive Images Plugin)
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} /path-to-wordpress/wordpress/wp-content/blogs.dir/22/files
    RewriteRule \.(?:jpe?g|gif|png)$ wp-content/plugins/new-nine-adaptive-images/adaptive-images.php [L]
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} /path-to-wordpress/wordpress/wp-content/blogs.dir/33/files
    RewriteRule \.(?:jpe?g|gif|png)$ wp-content/plugins/new-nine-adaptive-images/adaptive-images.php [L]

    — etc.

  • It would sure help me to test this if someone could tell me where the ai-cache directory should be created.
