Doesn't seem to complete

    Gday,

    A 2gb site is going to take a very long time to complete considering that most servers have a max process limit of 5 mins.

    To speed it up and make it more robust for larger sites like yours I would consider hooking wp-cron up to a real unix cron so it can be run by the PHP cli and avoid that limit.

    I am afraid, its taking for ever for me too. I have been running this for 20 minutes and it says Approximately unknown% complete. Whats happening?

    Gday mate,

    Only 20 mins? 🙂 My blog takes 2 hours to back up without the zip extension.

    I have removed the ‘unknown%’ message from v1.4.5 because it is a source of confusion.
