    Good morning,

    After installing the plugin i’ve had some plugins needing to update. So i’ve just waited to check if the plugin is working but it seems it doesn’t work unfortunatly? I have everything ticked on to update (also plugins) but it doesn’t update the plugins for me.

    Do you have any debugging guidance for me? I have cron job setup to execute wp-cron on my sites every 30minutes to keep it active, but your plugin doesn’t seem to fire, also the site is vistied daily by 500-1000 ppl (analytics sessions)

    Hi,

    I haven’t had any reports of it not working yet, so I wouldn’t really know what could be the problem. Ofcourse I would like to help you so I have a few questions for you.

    Doesn’t it work at all or does it only not work for plugins?

    What other plugins do you have installed?

    And ofcourse, have you tried re-activating this plugin?

    Tried the reactivate as its a known tryout for me but didn’t seem to help

    other plugins running;

    Lazy load, some “official” genesis plugins (including theme), yoast SEO, relevanssi, related posts plugin, tawk.to chat, mailpoet, CF7, wp smush

    Do have to note its installed on a cpanel server. I’ve checked the .htacces files which are “clean” but maybe core wordpress is changed by cpanel which conflicts with the auto update.

    Hmm, it seems like there are indeed some issues with cPanel and WordPress updating. I’ll see if there is anything I can do to fix this!

    Plugin hasn’t worked for me in months.

    Did you install WordPress using cPanel’s Site Software addon?

    I’ve contacted cPanel and they said that because auto-updating didn’t work properly on older WordPress installations they disabled it (they no longer do this anymore) and to remove the line saying “AUTOMATIC_UPDATER_DISABLED” from your wp-config file.

    Please let me know if this worked or not.
