• Media file renamer… but you have to pay money to rename files. This is not within the spirit of the open source community.

    1. There wouldn’t be a Pro version, and there would be only this Free version (which was always about being automatic), you wouldn’t have wrote this review. So why write it? What’s the point?

    2. There wouldn’t be the Pro, the Free would have never evolved. Do you realize this is a plus for everyone?

    3. What is the spirit of open-source for you? Also, how do you think WordPress survives? Do you think all the developers coding WordPress just do it by kindness? Do you know they are employees of companies using WordPress?

I have the feeling you came here writing a bad review just to hurt the plugin and its developer just simply because you want things for free. The spirit of open-source has nothing to do with free. Please check again.

    I feel for you Jordy!

On top of writing an excellent plugin, you explained how it works quite well in the description, including the features of the Pro version.

I really do not understand the freeloaders who attack you just because they couldn’t be bothered to read the description.

Anyway, keep up the great work!
At my web agency we plan to use Media File Renamer extensively on our e-commerces, in order to align product images names to product titles… finding your plugin was a huge time saver, we were very close to writing our plugin from scratch 😱

    Cheers,

Thanks a lot, @coccoinomane. I really wish some users will make the effort to actually try to understand the work behind those plugins, and WordPress in general, and how it all actually works. Luckily, I have also many excellent users (and most of them are), they give me feedback, and also cheer me up as you do. And that’s awesome. Thanks 🙂
