Doesn’t import WP Customer Reviews

    I need to import the Customer Reviews from the old site which was online while I was working on a new version on my Local Host. But the plugin doesn’t import the newest reviews (up to 7 June 2021). Please help

    Hi,

    When you import reviews from the old site to the new site, the ID which you mention in your CSV file must match the ID of the post in your new site. ID is auto-generated by wordpress and it cannot be the same on both the websites, so mention the correct ID for all the customer reviews and import your data on localhost to get the correct results.

    I will give that a try, although when I export the original Customer Reviews it does so as an xml file – no option to change. I’ll look for another Export data pkugin.

    Hi,

    If you are using an XML file, open the downloaded file in the notepad++ editor and change the ID to get the correct results.

    If you are using a CSV file, open it in Microsoft excel or notepad++ editor and edit your ID in it to get the correct results.
