• Hello all,

I hope someone can help us. I represent a non-profit camera club that uses WP to build our website.

Recently, we were contacted by a lawyer for an author of bird photography books. They are claiming that we put one of their ebooks on our website and made it available for people to download it for free. To the best of our knowledge, we only provided a link to his book.

Our old webmaster says he didn’t put the ebook up there (or doesn’t remember doing it). Our new webmaster is a newbie who is only just learning WP and at this point, has not idea what the capabilities of WP are, or where to look for them.

We don’t know if we ever posted this book. Highly doubtful since no one actually seems to have the book, but we don’t know for sure.

Does WP provide a log of everything that’s been done on the site? Is there anyway of tracking if we have ever posted this book on our website? If it was ever on our website, is there a way of finding out who put it there?

Does anyone have any ideas about how to get this information?

We would really appreciate your help. We just don’t know where to go from here. We are a small club, mostly made of seniors who only just switched to digital! This is a little beyond their capabilities.

    LL
