    Does WordPress store serialized strings in the database?

    And if it does, are there problems when it comes to migrating sites? For example, can you use database export/import tools to move between databases or is this impossible and instead you have to move via scripts that handle the serialized strings.

    Some settings are stored in serialized arrays.
