Support » Plugin: Foliopress WYSIWYG » Does what I want

  • I can’t stand the default method WP uses to deal with images. There was an image uploader program a few years back, then there was Dean’s FCKEditor, then I got KCFinder working with CKeditor, but that stopped working and now I’m using this. I only wish I could use it in an excerpt.
Here’s what I’m doing; y’all are welcome to pick it apart:

Replacing CKEditor and KCFinder With FolioPress WYSIWYG

    Hi Craig,

Thanks for your kind review. We loved our SEO Images/KFM extension but have moved over to WordPress’s own Media Manager as KFM has been end of line for a very long time.

For security reasons, we’ll be removing KFM going forward so you should not upgrade going further. I’ll talk inside the team about whether we can leave passive KFM support (i.e. previous users can continue to use KFM).

    Hi Craig,

    More technical details.

    • KFM has not been updated since 2010.
    • KFM is not compatible with PHP7 and we are moving all our sites over to PHP7 (huge performance improvements).
    • Thanks.
