Does W3TC successfully load JS "async" for ANY lightbox?

I’m using Simple Colorbox to show a lightbox for my images and galleries, but W3TC is not working nicely with it. It loads in header “async” which improves pagespeed scores, but then completely breaks the lightbox functionality.

At this point, i’m not set on any lightbox plugin. I just need one that works with W3TC!

And by “works” I mean the lightbox functions on the page and W3TC loads “async”, GZIP compresses, and adds eTags (for pagespeed scores).

If anyone has had any sort of success, please advise! Thanks

  • Hello, sorry to bump an old post, but I found a solution to this. You might want to disable w3tc minify and use the asynchronous javascript plugin. I did it here partythemeideas.org

Hi, do you have a link to the asynchronous javascript plugin you are referring to?
