Does updraft backup and restore pages containing latex properly?

The reason I ask is that
a few months ago I ported my blog from wordpress.com to a wordpress.org and used some other plugin (I can’t remember which one now – I deleted it in frustration) to try to load all the old pages onto the new site. The problem is that Latex uses the backslash \ character frequently, and the plugin that I used to port the pages across deleted all the backslash characters, rendering the Latex unreadable. I’d like a backup system that preserves Latex properly.

So I guess the question comes down to: “does updraft restore pages containing backslashes properly?”

    Thanks.

    Hi,

This shouldn’t be a problem – UD’s backup creation code encodes characters correctly. No problem reports in this area (with 600,000 sites).
