I’m wondering if this is normal functionality.

On my website, when a user tries to update their billing address, they are given an alert message saying “This card number looks invalid.”

The Update button is then disabled and even if they enter their card information they can no longer Update the page without first leaving the Update Billing page and then coming back.

It seems, that if this is the default functionality (which I can only imagine it is, because I didn’t edit this page at all) that it’s somewhat broken?

Why would someone be required to enter their card information if they’re just updating their address?

    Thanks!

I was just introduced to another, related, issue. Apparently, when someone updates their Billing Address / Card (in combo) they are charged for their subscription right then and there…

That can’t be right. Any ideas?

Also, this is happening when using Stripe as a payment gateway.

I believe I’ve figured out the problem, and it isn’t one. It’s just a bi-product of a bunch of testing on my site. The above issues would not occur under normal operations. Sorry for the mixup.

Hi onorok, thank you for clarifying, I’m marking resolved.
