Does this work with all premium themes ?

    Hi there,

    I’m the founder and CEO of The Ramteam®™ Group and I maintain two websites with the same premium theme from Skywarrior, namely the theme [Blackfyre]. One site is about our gaming clan, the other one is about our record label (in development as we speak).

    One both sites I have the issue that new registrations do not receive activation emails. With all contact forms we created, same thing (with WPForms)

    Before installing this one, could you clarify this will fix the issue ? We never had this issue until October 2017, where a security patch was issued from WP itself. I have contacted WP several times and they kept saying the issue is with our host, which isn’t the case.

    I’m getting a bit frustrated, because this costs new members, hence we can’t build our community further.

    Hi,

    If the theme does nothing with wp_mail() function – then everything should work. But in theme changelog I see that they are creating (and perhaps sending) a lot of custom emails, so the end result may vary.

    To know whether WP Mail SMTP plugin will fix the email deliverability issue – you MUST install it first and properly configure. No one can say that beforehand.

    I have contacted WP several times and they kept saying the issue is with our host, which isn’t the case.

    Why are you so sure, that the issue is not in your hosting? There are endless possibilities to break things on a server.

    Hey Slava,

    Thanks for the fast reply.

    At first, I know it’s not on the hosting end, because they’ve thoroughly had contact with the theme creators to solve other issues and completely tweaked the hosting server for us and the others who rent hosting on their server.

    As for the other, I’m not sure what the theme creators do or do not do. All I know, is that we paid approx. 100 euro for the theme including taxes and it works like a charm.

    I’ve already installed the free plugin and I must say, it’s superb. Works pretty well. So much thanks for that !
