    Hello, i realized a bunch of extra sizes are being created, i wonder if this plugin is doing it and how to stop it.
    mobile-320 (Custom, 320×99999 pixel, not cropped)
    mobile-640 (Custom, 640×99999 pixel, not cropped)
    mobile-360 (Custom, 360×99999 pixel, not cropped)
    mobile-720 (Custom, 720×99999 pixel, not cropped)
    mobile-1080 (Custom, 1080×99999 pixel, not cropped)
    tablet-768 (Custom, 768×99999 pixel, not cropped)
    tablet-800 (Custom, 800×99999 pixel, not cropped)
    tablet-1024 (Custom, 1024×99999 pixel, not cropped)
    tablet-1280 (Custom, 1280×99999 pixel, not cropped)

    Yes, it does. In 0.9.38 registration of new image sizes will be limited to the “Fit” image rescaling, and in 0.10.0 it will be optional even in this case.

    Great!!! Imagine sites with several thousands of attachments, backup size becomes huge. I’ll wait for new version.

    Yea I can’t use this plugin either if it lets itself redo or touch images without my permission or option I can set. I need to be able to disable your plugin from messing with my images other than code location for things related to minifying html/css/js.
    I’ve already optimized my images in a specific way and do not want them to be further tinkered with.

    It’s possible to disable images optimization and rescaling in Advanced settings (see “Optimize images” section). And, finally, uninstallation of PageSpeed Ninja reverts all images back to original state.
