 * Hi, I’ve installed subscribe to but can’t get it to send any emails. I’ve checked
   with my host and nothing is blocked unless the plugin uses loopbacks…
 * Does it? And if not how can I test further to get this working??
 * Cheers!

 * [@zoee](https://wordpress.org/support/users/zoee/),
 * Subscribe2 doesn’t directly use loopbacks but I suspect these will get used as
   part of the core WordPress cron functionality that would be used by Subscribe2
   to send digest emails.
 * To be totally honest, I’m not sure I’d believe your hosting provider. Very few
   providers have totally open and unrestricted email sending capability on their
   servers these days as they’d soon become a haven for spammers and rapidly be
   blacklisted by the rest of the internet.
 * Make sure that you have configured Subscribe2 to use a send account (Subscribe2-
   >Settings, Email Settings tab where is says “Send email from”) to a user account
   that has an email address defined in the User profile ending with the same domain
   as your blog. So, if your blog is [http://www.example.com](http://www.example.com)
   the email should be something like [admin@example.com](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/does-subscribe2-use-loopbacks/admin@example.com?output_format=md).

 * Hey, I’ve tried using an address the same as the domain. It is a sub domain though…
   I’ve also changed the settings so it sends an email for each new post added to
   try and avoid the cron incase that is in fact causing issues, but still no luck
   🙁
 * Any other ideas pretty please?

 * [@zoee](https://wordpress.org/support/users/zoee/),
 * A few things to try, install an email logging plugin in WordPress:
    [http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/email-log/](http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/email-log/)
 * That will tell you if emails are being generated.
 * Try installing an SMTP plugin to push the emails via an email server instead
   of using the web server:
    [http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/configure-smtp/](http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/configure-smtp/)
 * Do you get emails for comments? Do you get an email if you go to the WordPress
   login page and click for a lost password?

 * Hi, I’ve tried both of those with still no emails coming through via subscribe2.
   Are you able to login and check this for me today? I’m happy to pay for your
   time…
 * I really need to get the website delivered.
 * Thanks,
 * Zoe
