[Resolved] Does Social Media Feather reference your sites?

  • When a page/post is loaded, does Social Media Feather reference any of your sites or any other site external to the website that it is installed on?

When the user selects one of your buttons, such as Facebook, does Social Media Feather reference any of your sites or any other site than the target sharing site?

Why am I asking? I have been using another social sharing plugin that accesses the developer’s site every time a page/post loads, as well as when the user selects one of the buttons. Unfortunately, this is recently causing a lot of intermittent slowdowns in excess of 15 seconds on page/post loads and I haven’t been able to contact the developer in over a week. Therefore, I need a replacement and your Social Media Feather plugin is starting to look good.

  • No, the plugin does not contact any site on your posts/pages. It also doesn’t load any external resources from your own site, meaning everything is self-contained and speed is kept at a maximum.
