• Hi,

    I currently have a membership plug-in that I am not too happy with, and looking to migrate.

    However, I require the following two features that are not negotiable – does S2Member perform these?

    A) Email the user at the end of their membership to promote a renewal / inform them their subscription is soon to expire

    B) I have an issue currently where the customer’s subscription is marked as expired at midnight (00:01AM) on the day of expiry, however their account is not billed until later on in the day for renewal.

    This results in users missing a day of access to the website, which is not acceptable for us. Does S2Member have this issue, or how can it be resolved?

  • A) Not at the moment. That feature is slated for the next-but-one update. See here.

    B) You have the ability in s2Member to set a “grace period,” which is designed to overcome problems of the nature you describe.

    I should have mentioned that feature (A) is available if you install an add-on or do a hack. See here.
