Pods works with any theme or plugin, now if you’re asking about specific integration then that depends on the theme or plugin as some themes or plugins have custom functionality that we integrate with.

Pods lets you create custom post types and custom taxonomies, and most themes have basic or extended support for custom post types and custom taxonomies so you should be set there. Accessing your fields can be done through PHP or through a shortcode like [pods] (see the Shortcode icon next to media upload icon in the post editor).

Visual Composer has it’s own set of things it does, we don’t have any built-in support for it, but if it supports custom fields then you should be able to use Pods with it in that fashion.

    Scott,

    Thanks for the information!

@harsha, you actually brought this question onto Slack Support and one of our folks helped you out. Each theme that rolls Visual Composer into their theme enables or disables things differently. Unfortunately, we have no control over what the theme designers do.

In the future, please create a completely new support ticket instead of jumping onto a Resolved one. We could’ve missed your response.
