    Hello,

It seems like none of the tools, Exit Intent and Early capture works with caching. I am using WP Rocket and have all archive and product pages cached.

    Hi @metuza

Thank you for reaching out. We have tested Exit Intent and Early capture to be working with Lightspeed cache plugin. Once you activate the Tools, you should clear the cache. We will check if there are issues with the WP Rocket caching solution, but it should be the same.

And also to be clear – Early capture is not available and therefore will not work in our Free version since it is only available in the Pro version.

Will let you know our results once we run some tests over on WP Rocket.

    Thanks for your patience.

We ran some tests on your store and found out that the Early email capture popup appears every time without any issues according to appearance limitations described in the documentation (will display only to guest visitors not more than once per hour).

However Exit Intent popup does get displayed since WP Rocket is caching shopping cart cookies which also contains product count in cart and since Exit Intent will be displayed only in case you have at least one product in your cart, it does not get displayed.

We had this issue also with Lightspeed cache plugin before and the solution was to exclude WooCommerce cart cookies from being cached:
woocommerce_cart_hash and woocommerce_items_in_cart. (you can refer to this thread: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/woocommerce-cart-support)

Since WP Rocket is a paid product, we were not able to see what kind of options it provides inside, but I would suggest you reaching out to them and asking how to exclude from their caching mechanisms these two WooCommerce cookies.

Let me know if you need any additional assistance with this.

    Best wishes,
    Nauris

    Hello again,

Thank you for your answer, but maybe i was a little unclear. The popups seems to appear as they should but the mail entered is not registered.

Just a quick update here for those reading this in the future.
After running a couple of Early email capture request tests with and without WP Rocket – we established that the issue was not caused by this caching plugin, but there is something other that currently is causing issues saving data both in Exit Intent and Early capture.

Finally this issue has been resolved with great assistance from @metuza.
As it turns out, Google reCAPTCHA was behind this issue and was preventing abandoned carts from being saved both in the Checkout form and Tools since many times it assumed that we were bots and would prevent data capture.
Solution here is to either disable the Google reCAPTCHA or to lower the minimum allowed score that is allowed to pass through via filter found here: https://www.cartbounty.com/#recaptcha
