Does not work well with custom post types

While trying to implement this plugin for my custom post types, I could not have it to work properly.
Not only the reviews wouldn’t show, even after validation but if I was to manually edit a review or add an admin comment to it, it would lose track of the associated post id making the review non assigned.

I used to use this plugin back in 2015 and it worked well, but not anymore. It’s a shame.
