    It is bad that the plugin did not work in your case, thanks that you told us.
    We can see that the plugin is functional on several other websites. Could you tell when did you get this message, and on which place ?
    On typing search query, search, in the plugin settings ?
    We hope to fix this soon, but more information could really speed this up.

    The error occurred immediately, as soon as the plugin was activated, and the error message was top left in the dashboard, as well as the word ‘Error’ on the ‘Settings’ screen. I have a screenshot if that would help …

    Thanks the response. It looks like it was not able to send correctly the activation information.
    This can be a setting problem on the hosting server, or a temporary time out because of update or restart of our server.
    Did you experience the same error at a second try later ?
    Can you try it again, and on the case it fails, show the screenshot ? (maybe the website url, to check it in our logs)

    Thanks the screenshot.
    One cause can be that on your web hosting, the “curl” module for php is not enabled, and we use that for the connection.
    I updated the plugin the check this first, and show more detailed error message.
    If you update the plugin, and you see a message “The curl module is not enabled”, then the problem is found and we can solve it.
    Other way please write here the detailed message.
    Hopefully this will sort it out.

    Now we can see in our log that at 17:07 CET, about 1 minute after your post, the plugin successfully registered and the indexing started. Can you please check it again?

    Sorry but no go. When the error appeared, I deactivated the plugin. I just reactivated it and the error reappeared, and is visible to me as admin and all site visitors at the top of the page. It doesn’t really matter whether it’s working, just that we can’t have the error message floating about on a live site …

    Further to yesterday – this morning, the error message upon reactivation is slightly different –

    Error connecting to the server.
    Couldn’t resolve host ‘http’
    Server url:
    Request url:
    Connection failed, or this website is already registered. Please contact us to allow reactivation.
