• This plugin has conflicts with Polylang translated pages. I saw in the forum 6 months ago about the same issue and it is still not fixed. I’m unable to deactivate plugins in half the translated posts on my website. Using “Plugin Organizer” now. Although it is more troublesome having to go into every page/post to deactivate plugins, but at least it is working well.

I managed to accidentally resolve the problem by clicking on the language tags at the top of FCP plugin page. After switching back to “All languages”, I am able to turn off plugins for the translated pages. But I hope the next Polylang update will not break this plugin again. It’s very frustrating to keep having issues like this.

    Hi @refugeindhamma

can you share the link of the support thread where you saw that Polylang is not supported?

I think Plugin Organizer is also an amazing plugin, and it’s normal there are some situations when a plugin is better than another one. If for you it works better with Polylang, better if you use Plugin Organizer.

The translation pages provided by any translation plugin are fully supported by Freesoul Deactivate Plugins PRO as you can read here: https://freesoul-deactivate-plugins.com/how-deactivate-plugiins-on-specific-pages/translation-urls/.

Anyway, theoretically also the free version of FDP works with Polylang. At least I know many users with Polylang who have no problems with FDP. Probably, it depends on your settings.
Usually, when you install a translation plugin, if you don’t flush the rewrite rules by visiting the page Settings => Permalinks, you may have problems.

I don’t exclude that changing plugin WordPress flushed the rewrite rules.

Anyway, good to know that you don’t like FDP.

    Have a great day!

Working with WordPress and plugins you need to handle plugin updates. Plugin authors can’t have control over all that is done by other plugins. This is. why do we spend a lot of time trying to solve conflicts and help users with support requests?

When you have an issue, and this is not only for FDP, I suggest you first open a thread on the support forum.

In your case, I suggest you uninstall FDP and use Plugin Organizer, or other plugins. If you don’t like FDP you have a mindset that will always lead you to problems.

Instead of asking for help you gave 1 star, then for the fear of a future. update of another plugin you changed to 3 stars. This means you really don’t like our plugin. I really suggest you disable FDP and use. a different plugin. It was not a good start with FDP, and its job can be done by another plugin manager that fits more with your tastes.

    Best regards

    Jose
