Does not work! It wastes time

    This Plugin does not work. It wasted my 1 day. Problem is it fails progressing in middle way and it does not show any error on screen Just a loading goes on loading forever. Then i checked in google’s console and found its connection timed out error. I increased my php memory and timeout limits but still it does not worked. I have done chat with support team 3 times still no solution they just said they improved connection limit from their side i improved from my side but nothing worked. I don’t know but this miserably failed and wasted valuable time.

    The plugin dies work and transfers thousands of websites successfuly each day.

    However, there are cases in which it can fail:

    – your other hosting company has too low limits or other restrictions
    – there are huge files in the wp-content folder – movies, archives with backups, etc.

    Check out the siteground-migrator.log file in the wp-content folder which will tell you more information on which step the transfer is failing. If it’s during the manifest of files generation – check for such huge files as mentioned above. If it’s the databsae – optimize, clear things like transients, etc. and try again.

    If nothing helps, you can contact our support team to assist you with the transfer. We have it for free for some plans in others it’s a paid service.
