# Does not work for WordPress 3.8

 * It installs from the “New Plugins” menu.
 * I then go to the “Appearances -> Widgets” page, which now shows an area titled“
   Arbitrary” in the sidebar widgets area. If I drag a widget (from a different 
   plugin, and yes, it works in the sidebar – I just don’t want it there, I want
   it in its own page) to this “Arbitrary” area and save the widget there, it appears
   to generate a shortcode for the widget. The generated shortcode is of the form[
   widget id=”mailchimpsf_widget-2″].
 * If I paste the generated shortcode in a page (with the text tab selected) and
   save the page, when I view the page there is no widget displayed. I have no other
   text in the page, just the generated shortcode.

 * Are you sure it isn’t another plugin conflicting with it? I’ve installed it on
   two different sites running 3.8.1 and it works perfectly.

 * My experience was with WordPress 3.8.0, and I have not retried it with 3.8.1.
   There may well have been a change that allows it to work with 3.8.1.
