Our gallery backend core functions work as it’s required in wordpress developer guides, sticked to wordpress core. Image manager it’s one of the modules which work based on wordpress media manager api, so if you click on Select Images button and it’s doesn’t work, I guess, you have some problems in your wordpress admin section in general.
