• This is a great program if it worked. Says all files were transferred, but on the destination site nothing shows up. Need to make a clever entry in windows hosts file to even access the destination WP site. And it does not transfer any non WP directories. Transferring cPanel accounts.

    Hey,

Our plugin supports migrating a WordPress site. We currently do not support migrating the entire cPanel or non-WordPress directories outside the WordPress installations.

You may define the server IP in the Windows host file to access the destination directory only if you have not already changed the site’s DNS settings to point to the new server.

By using our migration plugin, you can transfer your WordPress site to the new server by specifying the new server’s IP during the process. After the migration is complete, your site will be accessible on the new server. Once the migration is complete you can update the site DNS settings to view the site without modifying the Windows host file.

If you have any more questions or need assistance with the migration process I recommend you write to us at support[@]migrateguru[.]com and our team will assist you promptly.
