@zeroif I’m not sure what you mean. This plugin has nothing to do with the user description.

I understand now. It’s a block conflict. Thanks, I’ll look into this when I have a chance.

There’s currently no known workaround. I’ve filed an issue with the developers: https://github.com/madalinungureanu/user-profile-picture/issues/15

It may be a bug with this plugin, or a bug with Polylang. At this point, I do not know for certain, but I can say that the language selected in the admin is not present in the REST API, which pulls the user description.

If you are a Polylang Pro customer, I’d recommend filing a support ticket and raising the issue above as a possible bug report/concern and any workarounds would be appreciated. Otherwise, there’s not much we can do aside from keeping an eye on if a more flexible block is needed, such as what’s included in the discontinued User Profile Picture Enhanced, which can display a custom author box below a post that should be language agnostic. This is in theory, however, as the plugin was discontinued and you can try it at your own risk.

Thanks for understanding and we are aware of the issue and unfortunately it is complex.

    Regards,

    Ronald
