The plugin does not support custom post types as advertised. Either using the widget, shortcode or theme function.

Though the widget has the option to chose a post type it did not show on the front end and it did not update the category select to choose the categories related to the post type.

Using the attributes in the shortcode does not work, same with the theme function. The supplied arguments have no effect.

Yes it does. Maybe not the way you want but it supports custom post types, not custom taxonomies(categories).

It does not create an archives template for you, this plugin does not alter the WordPress installation in any way so if you don’t create it will not open custom post archives. The link of archives is the wordpress’ default link and there is no way to change it for now (I have not a much time to work on it for the moment).

If it does not fit your needs doesn’t mean that the plugin does not work or is bad. There is also a Support section where you can ask questions “how to” or report a bug…

I hope you will find a plugin that fits your needs, otherwise make your own!

PS: maybe you didn’t create your custom post type the right way, there are good plugins to do that easily.

Wow you have some nerve to assume I didn’t create my post types well on create archive pages.

I never assumed the plugin to create archive pages for me.

I reiterate your plugin does not properly support cpts. Even when selecting the custom post type t G one posts were not displayed on the calendar on posts from normal posts and it’s categories.

What is the point of selecting a cpt and not it’s categories? I stand by my rating.

Custom post types can have same categories as the defaults, I used it, it worked fine and it was enough for me. If it does not fit your needs, pass your way.
I add features when I have time, this plugin is open source and you can improve it by yourself if you need it.
If you have issues with displaying of some posts, that might be a bug, the support is free.
Rating just because you can’t get it work or because it does not fit your need is lame.

Yes I am on the nerves and you’ve contributed to my bad mood. Bad timing (I read it today).
