Eurica. The culprit was found. It is the plugin itself. Alas, it’s incompatible with WordPress or rather with the basic theme that comes with it. The plugin does not work with WordPress’s own basic free Twenty Twenty theme. Hours upon hours of time wasted. The quiz began to work after I installed the Astra theme. Then I tried a couple of other premium themes, and they all worked. But I am not going to change my website and I am not going to migrate to a different theme only because of a plugin. That’s a major, major annoyance.
What I find so bad about the situation is that there was no warning, at least I didn’t see any, that would have told the potential user that the plugin is incompatible with WordPress Twenty Twenty themes (maybe it’s incompatible with other themes as well but this I can only claim with 100% confidence that it does not work with Twenty Twenty and thus represents a colossal wastage of time.
okay, it’s not your fault. It must have something to do with the child theme (Twenty Twenty child theme). I have no idea what it is because there were no changes made to it, and it’s more or less the same theme, but when I switched to the original Twenty Twenty, it began to work. So you can close the ticket because you cannot solve it. Only I can. Anyway, I great plugin.
