• There really isn’t a spam stopper plugin that works anymore. I have tried zero spam, and it worked at first for registering, and not I tried this one, and this started working the first week, and now I am getting spammed registers constantly. So I have no clue what to do with register spam. I just take the address and mark in Settings>Discussions as comment spam, but they keep registering under spammed emails on cleantalk. All you have to do is search there emails on Google, and if they are massive spammers, I will delete there sign up account. Who wants to spend hours cleaning up spam?

The authors on these plugins complain about bad reviews, but in reality, the plugin is just bad enough to get those. Like this one claims stopping registering spam, but I get them multiple times a day now.

I’m sorry to hear you had spam registrations. If you would like to submit a support request, I can help you fix this issue. It should be noted that if you are using a plugin that bypasses WordPress’ default signup system, WP-SpamShield doesn’t stop spam registrations in these situations.

I put together a Troubleshooting Guide and FAQ’s for users to check when they have issues. There is also Support Request Form for you to contact us if those don’t work.

    I hope that helps.
