 * Hi,
 * I just actually committed what I thought was the initial release about two minutes
   ago. I’m honestly not sure how it was available for download before now.
 * I just tested, and I think everything is properly in place. Please try again
   and let me know if you have problems still.

 * I think the problem was my inclusion of the __DIR__ constant, which just became
   available in version 5.3 of PHP. Try installing the latest version of the plugin,
   0.5, and let me know if it still fails.

 * Hi Sterling
 * Yesterday I installed the Twitter media Endpoint plugin for WP 3.1. I used the
   Twitter dev url to register my ‘app’ with Twitter. Used the consumer key and
   secret and filled out my endpoint, which in my case is [http://imofx.com](http://imofx.com)(
   no trailing slash) Tried [http://imofx.com/TWITTERMEDIA](http://imofx.com/TWITTERMEDIA)
   as well, after creating a directory with that name through FTP). Made sure to
   give extensive rights on that map (tried 777 as a last resort)
 * I use Trumpet as a Twitter client, because it allows me (only app I know that
   gives you this option) to define a custom url for media. (I want to use WP as
   my image hosting service). But no matter what options I try, I still get an error
   message that says my status can not be updated. As far as Trumpet goes, you need
   to define the very same endpoint in the app as in your plugin. (duh ;))
 * Any ideas ?
 * Kind regards,
 * Edwin

 * Hi Edwin,
 * Your problem is probably because you created the twittermedia folder. Even though
   you define a folder in the settings you do not want to create it. So delete that
   twittermedia folder you created and let me know if that works.

 * Hi Sterling
 * Thanks for the response 🙂
    Just recently I updated to WP 3.2 I think that’s
   why your plugin does not seem to work anymore on the server I’m hosting my site
   on. (Sent you another mail on this one)
 * But on the WP 3.1 version, everything would have worked I guess 😉
    (shouldn’t
   have updated)
 * Thanks again and hopefully, there’s a solution for the problem with installing
   your plugin on WP 3.2
 * Kind regards,
 * Edwin

 * Hello,
 * Is anyone supporting this plugin any longer?
    It seems to have been broken for
   some months now. I’d love to be able to use it.
 * Thanks,
 * Patrick

 * Hi Patrick
 * As I do no longer receive any updates from Sterling, I think he stopped supporting
   his plugin, which is a shame. It would have made a perfect companion to WP 🙂

   There’s an alternative though and it’s called Tweet images. If you’re an Android
   user like me, you can use that one in conjunction with Trumpet for Android. Trumpet
   is -as far as I know- the only Twitter app for the Android platform, that supports
   using a media endpoint. Great for hosting your tweeted images on your own blog!
 * You can check out: [http://www.imofx.com](http://www.imofx.com) if you’re anxious
   to know what it looks like. Tweet images shows up in the left sidebar of my site.
   My theme even throws in a nice lightbox feature when clicked 😉
 * Hope this helps you out !
 * Kind regards,
 * Edwin

 * Apologies for not replying in so long. I do plan on supporting the plugin, I
   have just been swamped with other things.
 * I will be looking at issues this week. Please let me know what specifically is
   happening and I will get back to you with a fix.

 * Hi Sterling,
 * I’m having the same issue related in [this post](http://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-twitter-media-endpoint-cannot-sign-in-to-twitter-in-user-profile-page?replies=2)
   from some months ago.
 * To reiterate the issue here, I can’t login to twitter in the user profile page,
   when clicking the signin button, it returned this url: “[https://api.twitter.com/oauth/authorize?oauth_token=&#8221](https://api.twitter.com/oauth/authorize?oauth_token=&#8221);(
   the url ended with the “=” sign) and twitter returned an error message:
 * Woah there!
 * This page is no longer valid. It looks like someone already used the token information
   you provided. Please return to the site that sent you to this page and try again…
   it was probably an honest mistake.
 * Any help would be appreciated.

 * Okay, I’m really sorry my replies have been so few. If you cannot authorize Twitter
   try this:
 * Go to your site “wp-admin/options-media.php” and make sure you have the correct
   Consumer Key and Consumer Secret for your app you created on Twitter. if you
   do not then that is probably your problem. If they are correct then go ahead
   and clear those values and click the Save Changes button. After the save re-enter
   the values and save again. Now go to your profile page and see if you can authenticate
   with Twitter.
 * I am going to spend some more time on this over the weekend. Again sorry for
   the poor response. Very busy job and getting used to being a single dad of 3
   kids = rarely time for anything else.

 * Hi Sterling
 * Thanks for getting back on this 🙂
    Will try your suggestions and post here,
   when it’s resolved.
 * Kind regards,
