I use this plugin on 2 sites a long time.
After update WP to 4.4 one of them stops working. ((
Skipped 10 posts (most likely due to empty title, body and excerpt).
Imported 0 posts and 0 comments in 0.02 seconds.
I also have the same problem after 4.4 update… What’s wrong?

Yes, I have it working locally now. I’m just waiting for wordpress.org to approve the new name so I can upload it. There is a massive backlog of approvals waiting to be processed.
You can try this in the meantime, but do be aware that I suspect the next release may be a different name (which should not be an issue, as the plugin does not store configuration data):

That fixes a specific issue with empty Post Excerpts which prevented importing. There may be other issues lurking, but we won’t know what they are without trying it out and looking at test CSV data.

I think only @nomad-one or the project owner can close it. We have no idea, however, if this fixes the same problem as the original poster had. “Works for me”, may be good enough though.

@rolf deck Technically this issue isn’t solved, the original CSV Importer plugin is still broken with WP 4.4.
Jason has created a new fork, which will be a separate plugin.

But, @jason Judge fork works for me. I have tested this on my production site (wp 4.4) and this is working.

That link you posted goes to a 404 page for me – have you taken the plugin down? If so, is there any way I could get a copy? I use this on a couple of live sites which I ideally need to update to WordPress 4.4.
