Hi. Sorry for the difficulty with uninstalling. Can you elaborate on what you mean by remaining in a deleting state? Are you getting an error message like:
Deletion failed: There has been a critical error on this website.
We have had various support topics opened regarding uninstall problems, and we’ve created a GitHub issue to centralize the findings and resolve it: https://github.com/ampproject/amp-wp/issues/6826
Can you confirm you’re facing a similar problem?
We have a pending fix open which should be merged by next week.

yes, that message had, we have restored our website from before the plugin, bye amp!
we installed it and then it was impossible to uninstall it!
Thanks for confirming. That will be fixed in the next release (v2.2.1).

and I don’t know if the database and files in general when I restore the backup through UpdraftPlus everything will be fine.
That is now my big question!
You didn’t need to restore a backup. The issue with uninstalling just prevented some data specific to the AMP plugin from being removed. Merely deactivating the plugin would have been enough to prevent it from doing anything on your site. The AMP data removal logic is being made more robust in v2.2.1. So an inability to uninstall could also be remedied by updating to v2.2.1 once released and then uninstalling (while leaving the plugin deactivated). Sorry you had a bad experience.
