Does less, costs more

Like others I had problems with logs filling up. These problems are described by many in the WP support forum for this plugin. I’m fortunate that my web host gave me a chance to address the problem and didn’t shut down my site for the problem the Timely plugin caused.
I made the error of upgrading to a new, more expensive version of the plugin after being told that they no longer supported the version I’d been using. I’m still puzzled as to why I was paying for the add-on WP Expended Views for something that they didn’t support. After the “upgrade” my events were no longer searchable by either the website’s seach box or the plugin’s own search field. This is a serious problem. I’d been warned that all my old events would not be able to migrate to the “upgraded” plugin. There’s a number limit. I agreed to that limit, not wanting to pay even more. However, I was not told that the events that did migrate would be missing key information like event website URLs, admission details, and email contact information. Support was not helpful. I found a new plugin and spent weeks getting my original events formatted so that I could reproduce what I had started with.
I used this plugin for years and found it very helpful. My recent experiences with it have been very frustrating, disappointing, and costly. Timely’s errors mean I’m paying for two plugins this year. Theirs, which didn’t work and the new one I had to get. Timely does not offer refunds.
Finally, I noticed that Timely’s support forums show questions as resolved when all they do is send a note saying to get in touch with them via another form. I did start by asking my questions via that form. So telling me to ask again while marking my problem as resolved gives the impression that support is effective even when it isn’t.
I do not recommend this plugin.
